Flora holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Beira Interior, with a focus on water reuse. She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the School of Technology and Management (ESTiG) of the Polytechnic Institute of Bragança (IPB) and a Researcher at the Sustainable Construction Research Group (GICoS-IPB).
