Teresa Fidélis
Assistant Professor with Aggregation in Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the Department of Environment and Planning of the University of Aveiro, and integrated researcher in the Research Unit on Governance, Competitiveness and Public Policies (GOVCOPP) of this University. She holds a PhD in Applied Environmental Sciences, and teaches Environmental Planning, Environmental Impact Assessment and Strategic Environmental Assessment, and Environmental Legislation in Master’s and Doctoral courses. She has participated in several international research projects on environmental and land use planning and governance, and coordinated or integrated teams of regional land use plans, river basin management plans, environmental plans and local agendas, strategic environmental assessments and assessments ex ante. She also has effective experience in environmental governance as President of the Administration of the Região Hidrográfica do Centro, IP., President of the Board of Directors of Polis Litoral Ria de Aveiro, SA., member of the Board of Directors and Regional Director of the Center, of the National Institute for the Conservation of Nature and Forests, IP.
