Wildlife Research Unit (DBIO-UA)

The Wildlife Research Unit of the Department of Biology, University of Aveiro, integrates several aspects in the area of ​​animal ecology, including the study of the dynamics of animal populations and their habitats, game and fish management and planning, conservation, evaluation and monitoring of natural areas and their biodiversity, the application of geographic information systems to the management of natural resources, population genetics, environmental education and the dissemination and communication of science, namely research in animal ecology and biodiversity.
